We are situated on the edge of the city of Derby in a mainly residential area. Our school campus is shared with Ravensdale Infant School, where we aim to create a one-school feel. To do this, we are working on joint projects and share vital information to ensure parents feel we are working together to give their children the best school experience.  

The school was opened in 60 years ago, with a new extension added when the housing population in Mickleover increased. We have 12 mixed ability classes across Years 3 to 6 totalling around 360 pupils. Our children develop strong relationships with the teachers and peers through their learning and wider enrichment activities. 

We are fortunate to have a great deal of outside space at the school, including all weather playgrounds, a sports field and a developing Forest School to make even more use of the green space around the school for learning opportunities.
